riders in mckinney,plano area

there is three of us in mckinney that just bought new 1300R's, last month,went riding to lake texhoma around the lake into madill ok,durant, and back to pottsboro,over 200 miles last sunday.it was great, we are going to plan rides about once a month,with some weekends in may and june into southeast ok, and southwest arkansas.
anyone interested in riding with us rookies??

Was is McKinney couple weeks ago ... brother-in-law lives there and has a X too ! We ride up around Lake Texhoma and Lake Murray in Oklahoma. Said he has been out around Ray Roberts and its a nice ride too. I'm about 60 miles north of Ardmore, but yeah, never mind meeting other riders down around the boarder and cruising for awhile :D

I towed my X to Lewisville, left my TBSS and rode the X from Lewisville, up to 380, thru McKinney, to Greenville, down hwy 69 to hwy 80 and home to Shreveport Today. Cool and windy.

All sounds good to me but if I can avoid an all day ride I would like to. I was gone for 12 hours last Saturday riding and I need to spend at least half the day with the family this week.

Planobiker, how long of a ride are you comfortable with? Are you a newbie to VTX or all riding?

Maybe if a long ride is planned I can tag along for half of it and head home in the early afternoon.

I've been riding since November after not having ridden for 20 years, so I haven't been on any long rides yet, but I'm game. I'm tied up Sat from about 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, but open all weekend otherwise. Just let me know where you all want to meet, brief intinerary, and I'm there.

we are going to meet at starbucks behind hooters at hwy 380 and 75 in mckinney at 8 am and going to quinland and ride the loop which is 120 miles,should be back around 3 pm,hope you can make it,2 or 3 vtx and one harley so far.

Hey everyone! It's been a little while since I have been on. CWICK and VTXmomma, how's it going?

An Army buddy of mine is heading back to Iraq for his third time this summer. Before he heads out he and I are planning to take a long ride from around Sherman to Galveston. We will be leaving on June 13th and plan to return on June 16th. I am going to post this at another spot in here with more details if some of you are interested. The more the marrier!
