Hello,
We're Jack (Pappy) & Jayne (Mimi). We'll use the names our granddaughter gave us. We're anxious, cause we just ordered our first new bike...a '07 Honda 1300R VTX. Hopefully we'll be taking delivery sometime this week. For the past few years we've been riding a 2000 Honda Shadow 600. It was fun in and around town but it just didn't have what it took for the long road trips.
We have lots of questions about the bike, accessories, group riding, etc... Looking forward to meeting as many folks as possible. We'll be happy to share our bike experiences and will always be open to your suggestions, comments and new introductions. GREAT WEBSITE! Glad we found it!

Thanks to all, for the comments and encouragement. Mimi and I went to the dealership today....it's in! They have to equip it with Memphis shades, engine guards, floor boards, saddlebags and backrest. Hopefully we'll get it within the next few days. WE're ready! As soon as the excitement calms, I'll get some photos to share. Our first new bike! WoW! Then we'll start thinking of other stuff to add....we're already looking at seats and light modulators. Maybe a few road trips and y'all comments will give us some good leads. You all make it special for us.
