Nice bike, I dig the paint!!! I am new to this posting thing, could you tell me how to attach pictures of my bike? I put one as my avatar and one on my signature. Do you see any? Sorry for all the questions. Thank you

No problem with the questions. This is what the forum is for. I can see your avatar pic. When you sign in just click on your pic (sorry about that) and it will take you to the place where you can upload a picture from your computer. The reason it may not work is that the pic is too big, but it should tell you if it doesn't work. Keep trying.

Thank you for the help. I think it works now. I went for an early morning ride this morning, still a bit cold, 28 degrees, but still wonderful. Have a great Sunday

Welcome. Should we call you Idaho, or what? Must admit, you have a clever screen name. enjoy the site, the more you learn here, the more questions you'll have, simply because these here VTX's seem to have more choices for modification than anything except the HD's.

Now, about pictures...

Upper left of each page is where you'll find the link to where you control your access here at the Cafe; it is called User Control Panel. from there you can down-load pictures for your avatar, sigline, etc...it is easier to post pictures in individual posts if you sign-up at someplace like Photobucket.com (these places are usually free), as they allow you to modify pictures you have up-loaded there to a format for specific applications on the web.

+1 on the screen name. Very clever! Welcome to the cafe and enjoy the folks and great information here, and keep asking questions. The only stupid question is the one that goes unasked!

HEy Idaho I hae a home in Coeur D Alene, getting ready to retire and move... not sure why I would leave the beautiful weather in SoCal (was 82 today) and move to CDA, but after I give up my job, I can not afford to stay... :-)

Small world!! I too moved to Idaho from southern California about 3 years ago!! Winter riding is tough here, but the country is beautiful. Wonderful long rides available.

Had my bike up there last summer went into Montana and did a loop near the Canadian border then back into and through Montana back to ID. Went west into Washington (Spokane) and north back near the border then back to ID

The ridding up there is great... Was there for Christmas 07 MAN TONS of snow, had a record year of it and shoveled all of it... :-(

We have been working on our place there for about 5 years -- doing a bit at a time getting it ready for us to retire - the wife is already there looking for part time work -- I'll be heading that way when the home in SoCal sells - terrible market now - looking pretty bad for a sale, but hey, we will be ridding a lot while I wait to sell here... :-)

We moved from Chino, CA, about 3 years ago and until this last winter we didn't miss it too much. Record snow here also this year. Oh well, they say we needed it. I was able to get out a little this week on the bike and I am SO READY for spring.
