Got the word back from the dealer today, and the bikes (VTX 1300S for me, 1800F for hubby) are OURS!! :icon_rock :choppersm

All I need now is my riding course, and we will be good to go! Already my Dad is planning a trip down to the Tail of the Dragon...heeheehee :D

Hey all. First post here. I figured it was time to say hi. As my wife has already explained we are now the proud owners of 2 new VTX's hers a 1300S and mine an 1800F. Nice to have found such an informative site. I reckon I'll be on here a lot, soaking up all the knowledge I can.

my wife and I just took delivery of our bikes, mine... a brand new 06 black 1300c and hers... almost an x.... a baby x if you will.... an 07 shadow spirit 750c2, also black.

My 1300S had previously been sent out for custom painting by the dealership, so they could use it as a display bike. I don't have any pictures that would do her justice, asides from two horrid cell phone camera pics (the only ones I could manage before my cell died), but will hopefully get some this weekend. She just glows - an orange/burnt orange colour with ghost flames. The dealership is also going to swap out the spoked wheels for a set with the mags off one of the 1300C's they have there.

Hubby's 1800F is a black and red tribal type of design, and there was actually a pic available online of that type. Let's see how my jpeg-fu is...

Yeah the Customizing stages have already began. WE haven't even got the bikes from the dealership yet!!!! We will for sure post plenty of pics of the both bikes.

Congratulations. I bought a bike last year and bought my wife one a couple of months later. We actually took the MSF course together just for fun and had a great time with it. If you have any questions at all just ask them here and someone will step up with the answer.
