Hey guys how's it going? I've had my VTX 1800 Neo for about two years now but new to the forum. I have been slowly doing custom work to my VTX since I got it. I have powdercoated my wheels and rear drive hub, put on Hard Krome exhaust, Corbin seat, Kewl Metal air ride, Kuryakyn Pro-R Hypercharger, Cruiser Performance Punisher Seriers handlebars, Dynojet Power Commander III, and a few other Kuryakyn produces. I have shave my rear blinkers and licence plate off of my rear fender. I had ordered some Supreme Legends forward controls, Kuryakyn mirrors, and kewl metal fat fork tubes. I hoping to be able install that stuff my next weekend. Take a look and tell me what you think.

Very nice! That N model is almost Pro-Street to begin with, and the mods you have done are the icing on the cake! Kewl!

Thanks! I love the pro street look and that is what I'm going for. I'm still thinking about wether or not I want to rake the front out and put a 21" front wheel. I've been looking at the kewl metal rake kit.

Thanks! I would actual like to lower the bike about another inch in the back Does anyone know where I can find a bracket that would change the mounting location of the bottom of the rear shock. I know they make them for other bikes but have not seen them for the VTX 1800. If not I might have to make some.

I think that you can get that lowered an inch with a set of progressive shocks, so that you don't have to mess with changing the location of the mounting bracket. Check out:

I already have kewl metal air ride which has me setting lower then progressive shocks. I'm just wanting to get that slammed to the ground look. I took apart my kewl metal air shocks today and after looking how they work I have figured out that I can just machine down the shocks an inch and get the look I want.:choppersm
