I have a VTX 1300c (fixed bars), looking at the risers in J&P. They seem pricie. Are they worth it? Are there any other options other than new bars? Would like to hear from someone who has tried these risers.
Thanks for you help.
(this is the first time I have done this, hope I'm doing it right.)

I recently bought the 4 inch pullback risers by show chrome, they were very easy to put on and they are just right on the bike, i sit straight up and the feel is very comfortable, and they look great on the bike, cost was 95.00.
James,
I went with the Kewl pullback risers. They dropped the bar down and back and have improved the riding postion greatly. They are not cheap ($130.00) but IMO well worth it. What exactly are you hoping to accomplish with the risers? (I was tired of being stretched out).
Also this thread really belongs in the main forum (VTX 1300), you'll get alot more feedback there. Lots of experience and expertise out there.
Good luck

Hi,
I also have the kewl metal 2" risers, They help alot but I wish they came in 4", since I am vertically challenged and have shorter arms. I looked everywhere and these were the only risers I could find without replacing the bars, which I might have done If I had not already replaced the grips. But they do help alot. Enjoy. Caroline

James I have a set of Show Chrome 4in. risers and stock retro model bars, Maybe we can work out a trade? I'm going back with a bar made almost like the ones you have.
