depends on which one you get. I don't ave one for the headlight but I do have the Kuryakyn run/turn/brake controller on the rear and it is placed under the seat tied to the cross bar. Works great and it's small.

I'm not sure which one I'll get yet, but since I will most likely get led tail lights I need to make sure I get a modulator that can do that. Do you have a link for the one you have?
