I had a low speed fender bender today, about 5mph. The only visible damage was a broken rear view mirror. Is there anything else I should be looking for? Fortunately I was wearing my half helmet and gloves, or my head would have kissed the asphalt!:(

What did you hit, and how did you hit it? Head on? My suggestion, look at your handlebars and make sure they are still "straight" (i.e.-when you are going down the road, when you have the handlebars in a neutral position to go straight, are you still going straight?). Forks look ok? Not bent in at all? If all that looks good, should most likely be ok since it was low speed. Just walk around it a few times at infrequent intervals; little comsmetic things might pop up and go over it with a fine tooth comb. I assume it still runs/drives ok?

Glad to hear your ok.

Thanks RetroRich, I'm fine. Just a few scrapes and bruises due to 650 lbs. of bike falling on me! It was a low spped T-bone type accident. A car cut me off by turning left in front of me. Luckily, I was still in 1st gear.
I seem to detect a vibration, but I'm not sure. Think I may change the front wheel. The bike is 100% driveable, and still feels fine on the interstate.

Glad to hear your ok, sounds like it could have been a lot worse. Might just be your front wheel out of balance; if it doesn't appear the rim is bent in anywhere (if your tire hit the other vehicle and the rim didn't, it should have absorbed the impact) I'd just have the balance checked and go from there.

Keep an eye on your fork seals. If you start to get a leak, that may indicate the forks are bent.
1300 or 1800? If it's a 1300, it may have jammed the bearing in the tripple tree. They are weak in the 1300 anyway and it may have dammaged it enough to get some vibration. Alot of people are switching them out to the 1800 bearings as they wear out.
