A member of our board went down, make sure to say a prayer for them:

This morning Rogers County ABATE membersPerry and Jan Brown were involved in a single vehicle crash that resulted in some serious but not life threatening injuries to Perry. Jan got away with some minor bumps and bruises and was treated and release from the emergency room in Grove. (Mitzie and I waited at the hospital with her till her son arrived to take her back to Tulsa)
Perry got to take a helicopter ride to St John's in Tulsa due the the severity of the fracture of his lower left leg. He will be undergoing some surgery and will be in the hospital for several days at least. He aslo suffered some pretty hairy road rash and a bump and scrape to the head.
He is in room 1033 at St John's in Tulsa.
The VTX received some minor cosmetic damage but was ridden to another members house till we can get it home.
From what I could see Perry was exiting the highway into the driveway of a gas station when his front wheel hit an edge at the transition of the highway and driveway. the edge also happend to be at a slightly depressed area that had been patched with tar which was still wet from the rain. I don't know if he tapped the front brake at the same time or just a combination of the road edge and the weight of the trailer he was pulling that caused the front end to wash out and dump them.
I want to thank those that were on the scene that helped them while waiting for the emergency reponders, I didn't get much in the way of names except "Bethany" who was either a nurse or an EMT from the Miami, OK hospital.
