We will be going to the outer banks of NC July 20-24 and I HOPE my bike is finished by then.

I have not been to the outer banks since I was a kid so, any suggestions or "tips"? We will be staying in Kitty Hawk.

The Black Pelican is a must for dinner or lunch.!!!! Mile post 4 on the ocean front road. Try Awful Arthers for good seafood. While your there take a ride to Duck (just north a couple of miles) for tourist trap shopping and golf if interested . Head south and check out the NC aquarium. AND last but not least....take time to relax on the beach. Have a great trip

If you want a really good meal for a fair price, try a little resturant called "SAM & OMIES". The food is excellent the price is right and the seafood is super fresh, The owner runs his own boat. This is a resturant that is open all year and a favorite with the locals.Been going to the area for almost 30 years and this is always a great choice. You will have to travel a bit south of Kitty Hawk but it is worth it.
