I am wanting to hook up a GPS on the bike, have a Garmin etrex hand held now.

I looked at the zumo 550 but it is way out of my price range.

I can't hear worth a crap so don't really need any music or such with it.

What are some of the other units I could look at ???

How about one of the other Zumo units? I think they have a 400 , a 450 and a 500, they are cheaper, but I don't know if they are in you r price range. But the GPS function should be the same, which is awesome on the 550, just a thought...

I've got a Jensen, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The point of interest don't have any gas stations or hotels. The two main things I'll be looking for while on a long trip. And there is no way to update the maps.

I know they make a second version of their motorcycle specific GPS that has cleared many problems but have not heard of a third edition.

Is this unit water proof, glove friendly?
