I have adjusted some of the settings, you should be able to edit your own post now past the 20 minute time limit. Can any of you go to an older post and see if you have the edit button there?

What's the cut off. I checked my last posts that were within the hour and only one had an edit button and that one was within the 20 min window.

Should not be a cut off for you, let me go look again...sponsor members should be able to edit their threads anytime...be right back.

Great change, by the way. I'm not just kissing your a** either. I wished I could edit my post longer for a long time.

I saw an edit button about 35 minutes after the post and tried it, got a message that stated somethink like, " The Admin. stated that you can only edit posts for 30 min. If you like to make a change contact the Admin.

Seems I have 2 choices:

1) Allow everyone the same time frame to edit their post

2) Allow sponsor members the ability to edit anytime and non-sponsor members could not edit at all.

Still looking for a solution...

My $.02--allow everyone the same time frame to edit their post. It's the most fair solution for everyone. Most of what I write, the only thing I would go back and edit are some spelling errors. I'm not the type to go back and retract statements. If I do or say something stupid, have to deal with the consequences.
