Anyone try one of these yet? Worth the investment? Does the locking knob seem like enough of a deterrent? Can you see through the plastic screen oK? Does it perform in the sun or does the glare get the best of you?

The aquabox is a waterproof box with a built in touch screen that you can put almost any gps in and it will keep it waterproof. New product from RAM mounts. Here's a link:

This one was borrowed to the current president of the car club I'm in (www.professionalcar.org (http://www.professionalcar.org)).. He owns a funeral home in Flint, Michigan, and was doing a biker funeral....They requested this hearse, and he was able to borrow one for the service....

Very similiar...only lead bike had a sidecar and wasn't a trike. Pretty trick though.

hey I just got one and will be trying it out soon so far so good I also got the regular mount as well incase the aqua box sux.

I have to admit that the aquabox is UGLY!! I really like the look of the regular mount. I had to superglue on the plastic cover, as it did not fit in correctly. I mean, after all, why have a waterproof box if it isn't waterproof. I do like the locking feature though. Put it back on my 4 inch arm, want it more up in my face to reduce the amount of time eyes are off the road.

well i tried out the aqua box on a 200+ mile ride and lucky me i got poured on and the box did great and I could work the GPS with my gloves on easy. Ugly yes but in this case function before fashion.
