Triad Area Bike Nights?

If anyone has any good places in the Triad of North Carolina to see and hear some good metric bikes, especially VTX's, please let me know. I am itching to get some mods done to my bike and would like to get some up close and personal visuals.

Im with ya maybe with the fuel prices soaring more people in the area will buy a bike like I did to save fuel , although I was wanting one anyway this just gave me a good excuse.

Or Statesville would be ok for me about 60 miles or so, Im seeing more and more bikes on the road everyday so hopefully someone will set something up for us.

I found this website that shows bike runs all over the carolinas...allthough since I am new to all this, I don't want to show up to some ride and there be nothing but Harley guys doing the ride and look at me like WTF...of course I could be way off here...:hmm2:

For the most part I am available any Monday. My work week is Tuesday through Friday...sometimes I have to go in and cover the weekend shift (Sat,Sun,Mon), but that is like every 5th weekend. My only plans next Monday (14th) is to go to the DMV to get my license since I am taking the riders course on the 11th - 13th at guilford tech community college. :D

Somewere you had posted that you had rode only 150 miles so I'm assuming you havent had your bike to long but how did you get in a class so quickly? I called FTCC a 2 months ago and the first availible class was in Sept. Is Guilford just not that backed up?

Yeah, you are right about FTCC...the guys at WS Honda told me they were backed up so I called Curly's and they wanted $350 for their class and I laughed my a$$ off. I then called GTCC and they were open for all classes this summer...a friend at work was asking me about it and I went and checked and it looks like the July classes are full but they didn't have the August classes posted yet. BTW, it is only $150. Here is the number to call the main lady at the course to find out if they have any openings sometime soon, leave a message if she doesn't answer and she will call you back: 454-1126 ext. 4141; I think...

I'm always lost on "this" and "next" when it comes to weeks and weekends, did you mean "next" Monday as in the 7th or the 14th? :hmm2:

Hey thanks for the word on the other side.There are two places to go here they are Ted's kicking chicken in WS on main st s. just off 52 and Greens supper club in north Greensboro off of 29. Both are Thur. nite. Pm me sometime we will hit one or the other. Pat

Hey Pat,

It is not a sub forum like on the VTXOA. Just go to the top of the page and click on the Members Group section and then find the Triad group and join.
