Ok...while I thank ********** for the post made on the forum I have asked personally and I'll ask again in public, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THIS FORUM YOUR PERSONAL ADVERTISING SPACE. With the business you have generated from the people I have seen order you could easily help me pay for this site, you said you can't afford it....$25 bucks... Yet, you post photos of you shop and you have cars and bikes woth more than my house.

In my last PM I asked and you agreed, yet lately most every post leads to your site on an item that is priced higher than other sites.

If we are to do what is best for the members of this site we should post the BEST price and service.

On the Progressive shock link you posted your price is $223.95, Xtremerevolution.com has them for $195.90. While I'm sure you will lower your price this is not the point...several things have been posted lower and you lowered your price after the fact. I have no plans on selling out this site to anyone.

I have edited all recent links and I again ask please don't spam this site with liks to your business.

As I have mentioned to you before, my posts are not unsolicited. People are asking what products are available and where they can buy them. I am the only retailer that takes the time to reply to people on this site and therefor I am doing those posters a service. You on the other hand, never miss an opportunity to publish lower prices from other shops that never answer anyone on this forum.

Sorry, again while I thank you for taking the time to post I don't like your linking almost every post (I edited links to your site out of most of the past 10 post you made). Sure I will post a lower price if I see one...why would I not?

He's not my buddy, I don't even know him...I just linked the BEST price I know of to the members of this forum.

I have received countless PM's from people that are very appreciative of the information I post here.

I also have received PM's from members that you have sent them PM's without their request promoting your site and business.

Who else has supported this forum to the same extent I have?

Every member who has a name in green or gold, without their support I could not have paid for the last upgrade or software purchase I this site would have closed.

I am not charging you, I am and I have already asked you not promote your business at this site. Help all you want, I'm sure you are a nice guy, but you are helping with the HOPE of making a sale, that is spamming and promoiting your persoanl busines.

If you are helping members and doing what is best then why not post links to sites offering the best prices? Simple, you are looking to make a profit (and I understand you need to make a living) but you are doing it in violation of the rules of this site.

I don't want to change them. You are saying since you make post you have the right to promote your store, you don't.

The simple fact is I have rules, I have asked you on several occasions to follow them and you still want to debate this with me. Jesus Christ...accept the rules for my site or as you say "don't click it"....these are the rules, they are not changing, accept it and deal with it.

I certainly understand both sides of this "discussion" and both of you obviously have your points. Any chances of finding a happy medium here? The rules of this site are very important, and I agree with Big-X on the rules regarding business promotion, solicitation, etc. I also understand where ********* is trying to run a business, which is very difficult and time consuming. He does have a lot of great, first hand knowledge which I know has been and continues to be a great help to many members of this forum.

What about just bumping or somehow keeping yourself toward the front end of the internet suppliers section of this forum and let people contact you from there? Maybe giving some more detail on your posting (in that section)to give people (mostly newbies) and idea of the products/services you offer? Just an idea in an attempt to try and keep the peace here.

Sorry, most of that is just ads and we should not have to look and his ads here with with 6 photos of products...what will this site look like when a few more vendors sign on? Yes, he is welcome to post in the suppliers section but not at the rate ads are being posted now.

The link in his signature is not the issue, I have not ever said he could not have a link in his signature, it's placing photos and links to things for sale in other peoples threads that is the issue. I had already asked that it stop a while back and I have been ignored, and I didn't want this to become a big issue but he thinks because of his knowledge he is above the rules, he's not.

I don't mind a link or plug here or there but damn, in 80-90% of the post is getting crazy.

And no, I don't have all the answers, unlike you I have never said I did. That post is in the "VTX Internet Suppliers" section which as I stated a few post above I said was fine. Heck, I even said a few links here and there would be ok. But, as he said himself he is only posting here to promote his website and business.

As much as I've appreciated the info from **********, I have to also agree with Coley. Big-X is the Administrator and owner of this site, and as such, has set certain rules in place for its use. I have to side with Big-X on this.

Big-X made an area of this site available to Internet Suppliers, and that's where advertising should be posted. That doesn't mean that ********** can't contribute to the general discussion points if he chooses. Just abide by the rules of this forum.

And yes, on top of all the ads you have posted (call them what you want) I have received information that without the people asking you are sending PM's asking them since you helped them with their question would they please buy from you (WTF?). You are reading a post with a question and then sending them PM's with item descriptions, photos, prices, and links to your site...this is the bullshit that is pissing me off.

I have persoanlly bought from you back in April, the prices were higher and you said you would match it, I was still charged $10 more and I said screw it, no biggie. My items came shipped in a box from http://vikingmotorcycle.com/ and the packing slip was from Viking...which means I could have ordered from Viking and saved the differnce...which is what I did on the next several orders.

The limits were in place when you joined this site and if you cannot help the members here without providing links to items for sale at your site then too bad. If you were a good businessman you would have given me the common courtesy contact asking if you could place ads or promote your site, as of this posting I have never received any request…only arguing and you telling me how great you are and how hard you work….I’m sure both are true.

Not answering any post here again fine, that is your choice, but you will not use the PM service to go behind the scenes and more generate business. See, if you go back and read what you have posted it's "me-me-me" and what you have done, you still fail to understand that we have rules and you have not once offered to even comprimise...you are saying it's the ad's or nothing...then it's nothing.

We already have one VTX site that is used to promote someone's business, this site is not going to be a second.
