Anyone interested in ********* slip-on, I'm selling it for $100.00. I logged 800 miles with it and end up getting a full exhaust. It fits 1300c 2005 don't know if it would fit the R or S. email f.anonuevo@sbcglobal.net if interested!

I hate to sound too stupid but I have always just ridden my old junky bike and just got a new 06 1300c. What exactly does a slip on do. Will it make my exhast louder or just look different.

I was thinking about the hole drilling mod people on here are talking about but if this slip on will do the same thing I will just do that.

Ill also look up now if it will work on the 06.

Not stupid at all, the slip ons fit on the existing header pipes - so you don't replace the entire exhaust only about the last 1/3. I have these particular slip ons, they look good, and have a decent moderate sound. The fit and finish is definitely not what you would get with a complete exhaust change, but for the price they are nice! (they retail new for $190.00). You can go to the Xchopper's website and listen to a sound bite. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info Mark. The ********* site said I would have to likely rejet so I think I am going to wait and get a whole set of pipes then rejet all at the same time. I just wanted to say thanks for the info.

btw, sorry vtxluver, I dont want to hijack your sale thread.

I just getting started here with a VTX. Bought a 06 1300s just last week. I have been considering doing something different with the exhaust. I was just curious why did you decide to get a new full exhuast. I am looking for a deeper sound and a little more power. Hunting for thoughts as to which way to go. Bang for the $$. Slip on vs. full exhaust.

I have a set of the slip ons if you are still interested. I have a set of tejas thump cycle shorty pipes that will rattle your teeth. These pipes are also on ********* site. I think they call them blow down or sweep down. check em out.
