Wow, this forum has really grown a lot since I joined! Lots of great people on board and are getting new ones every day. Really great to see so many people in the X-family and out there riding!
I just wanted to take a minute to step up onto the soap box and encourage the people who frequent here and find this forum educational/useful, fun, "a place to hang out," etc., etc. to please consider becoming a supporter/sponsor. It is costly and time consuming to run a board such as this, and Big-X has done a great job with designing, regulating and upgrading this forum. As far as I'm concerned, it's the best VTX forum out there and he strives and works hard to keep it that way.
So please sit back and think about how much you could help keep this great forum going and growing! By the way, my comments are completely unsolicited and I don't sell anything for a living. Also, I am not an owner of this forum either (just in case you were wondering).

Thanks Rich! My internet was down all day due to the storm, but a nice surprise!!!
Yes, it's true. I hope to keep advertiseemnt off the site, just member supported. The newest version of vB is coming out and again it will cost $$$ to upgrade the software and convert the skin. I hope everyone realizes who much better this software is compaired to the other forums using the FREE stuff.
Any help is great!

Another bump. Remember everyone that the costs for this comes out of Big-X's pocket, there are no site sponsors which is a good thing. Let's all do what we can to keep it going and help him out. Thanks.

Gas prices are dropping, so I hope more will step up and contribute. It only took me 2 weeks to realize this was THE site to join, and I've learned a tremendous amount about my bike from this and only this forum. I will continue to financially support this site until my VTX wheels fall off!

I proudly became a sponsoring member today. There is a ton of valuable information here. The cost of sponsorship is minimal in comparison. I challenge more of the newbies to join as well. Excellent site Ray. Thank You.

I'm ready to contribute, but really had problems with Paypal in the pass. Any other way available?

This is a very well managed site. What would be a recommended amount to "pay my way". I would at least like to pay my way and maybe more.

The site is 100% free, so there is no really "pay your way", just enjoy the site. If you want to make a donation dontate whatever you can afford. ;)

What is wrong with Paypal?

I do not have a paypal account, can I contribute another way? I am easily confused so keep it simple.
What is wrong with Paypal?Maybe I just had a run of bad luck, but after I set it up, made a successful transaction. I started getting bogus messages that my Paypal account had been breached on more than one occasion. None of them proved to be true, but nonetheless, I got tired of calling Paypal.:harder:

Ahhh....
I get messages that "appear" to be from Paypal but they are not, same goes for Ebay. Never click a link in any email message, if it's an account issue then visit the site directly. I have a co-worker that just got screwed for $3000. A good tip is link your Paypal to an "extra" account and keep that as a mostly ZERO balance. I have used PayPal since 1999 and no problems.
I sent an address via PM ref mailing a donation. ;)

This is a great site :patriot: and it didn't take many visits to realize that. :harder: I hope anyone that gets a bit of info on installing new grips, turn signals or fixing their run time module or drilling out their exhaust.............. the list is too numerous to post. :nono: The fact is for every fix you learn to do yourself is at minimum 1 hour labor at the dealer 60-80$ :nono: It's time to step up! Thank you all for helping me and getting a no wrench :nope: to try more and more each day! http://www.vtxcafe.com/images/icons/woot.gif :choppersm

It really amazes me how many people have recently purchased the VTX motorcycle, 1800 and 1300 all models and colors WOW. I hope that we will all work together to make this an even better site by supporting the work/staff that it takes to make it the internet leader and friendliest site! Ride on! Welcome all the new riders and VTX owners!

I would like to let you guys and gals know I have had the chance to turn down 2 companies asking to advertise here in the past month. ;)
Our members continue to support this site enough to allow us to keep running without having to ask for outside help and we continue to have the best members on the internet! Our moderators will agree I think we have the easiest job on the web for a message board...we rarely have to edit or delete anything, I cannot believe how well this site goes.
Anyway, thank to all who have donated to make this place run...you make it happen.
