Cool, never heard of them. In looking at their site I saw the bike shown below...how is it possible for that bike to be rated a 4.75? That is a thing of beauty!

From my dealings with them they have always beat anybodys elses price out there and ship really fast. I have had a few orders that were out of stock and they kept me informed of the parts arrival date. I love these guys!!!

I hate to do this , but I had a different experence with them and I would never order from them again....and yes, Juan was the one who helped me. They sent me the part I ordered, but the wrong option. I called and he said he would fix it, sent out the "right" parts which were still wrong. I called the manufacturer and they fixed the problem at no charge. They also said that Juan is pretty good and usually doesn't screw up. I know mistakes happen and I gave them the opportunity to make it right, but after the second mistake with the same part...and at least 2 weeks waiting for the "correct part" only to get another wrong part, I had enough.

Just thought I'd share my experence.....I'm not trying to bash Mean Cycles. I believe people get great service from them......I didn't. That's all.

Edit: Just a little more info on the order..I ordered EZ brackets for the 1300S with the Hondaline Deluxe Backrest and I was sent brackets for the 1300S without the backrest. Instead of replacing the kit he said all I need was different size bolts, which is true. I needed longer bolts, but was sent the wrong size bolts the second time. EZ brackets looked up what I needed and fixed the order quickly.

Yeah huh? Maybe I'll try them one more time.

My thinking was they should have replaced the whole kit, but I went with what he suggested and I just ended up wasting time. Like I said I don't want to bash them because I've heard a lot of good things....that's why I placed the order.

Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the link. I just ordered some Aeromach handlebar risers and am hoping they have them in stock. The price was right with free shipping. I've got my fingers crossed.

Just a side note: They were very nice and professional when I called to check the status of the parts. Very nice folks.

I actually had a bad experience with them as well. The site came recommended, to I purchased a few items from them last Monday (5/14), one of which I needed by this weekend (5/25). I figured 9 days would be more than enough to get from Florida to Jersey. I also read the site and the site indicated that I would be contacted if a part was on backorder. I figured I was set and I went about my business.

So, Saturday comes (5/19) and no parts. I call to check up on the order and they tell me I have parts on backorder. I was a little mad that I was not notified, but I let it go. They told me that they would have the parts on Monday or Tuesday at the latest and that the parts would be out Tuesday. With shipping I would have them before the weekend. I figured no-harm, no-foul. I was happy they would get me the parts by when I needed them.

So here we are, Tuesday. I call to verify that my parts are in and being shipped. I sat on hold for a few minutes and they come back on the phone and say the parts are not in. So, now I am getting a little upset. I ask when they will be in, they indicate tomorrow. I say Ok and ask when they would arrive at my house, since I needed the parts. They say 3 business days after shipment. This would give me the parts on next Tuesday since Monday is a holiday, which is beyond the date that I needed them.

The reason I needed the parts was that I ordered a bushing to mount my plate/brake light. Since I modded the rear fender, I have no light and I need to get this on there. I wanted to bushing to avoid fabricating the mounting.

Now I order a bunch of parts to get the free shipping. Basically, I had to cancel the order because I now have to fab the mouting of the plate/light and will have no need for the bushing. I could have just removed the bushing from the order and had the rest of the parts sent, but the only reason I was ordering the parts from them was for the free shipping with the bushing. So, order canceled and the additional parts were ordered from HDL. The cost was the same and I have never had a problem with HDL.

They did refund the order with no problem, so that was a bonus. However, my overall experience was not great. Maybe if they have a part I really need, I will order from them again.
