Was wondering if anyone has replaced the stock handlebars with different, taller and more swept-back bars and, if so, how difficult was it. How challenging was the wiring and hydraulic hoses? For long distances I find the stock bars to be too short and too straight across - too fatiguing. Thanks.

Replacing the bars is not a big deal at all. Shouldn't have to worry about the wiring. There is plenty unless you go real extreme but the hoses will more than likely have to be replaced. If you are going to work on your bike yourself invest in a service manual. It will be the best accessory you every buy.

I know some people have put Retro bars on their C and it seems to solve the problem your experiencing. Might be worth looking into.

You'll need new brake lines and clutch line. The throttle cables just barely make it.

:hmm2: Buy some aftermarket risers. It's a lot easier than changing the bars and I didn't have to change cables either. Mine are Rivco but Aeromach make some too.

I have the Rivco 3in Risers on my Retro. Made a world of difference in comfort on long rides.
