Anyone ride during the week around NC & SC??

I'm wanting to go ride the mountians some to get used to the curves and see the sights...lol. I would rather ride during the week when it's not so crowded, maybe hit the Blue Ridge Parkway and spend a day (or two).

Anyone else off during the week to ride?

I'll have some time off over the holiday(9/4/06) and actually on 9/15/06 my office will be closed due to moving. I have some vac. time I'll use during the week before the end of the year as well, so give me a shout and I'll see what I can work out. I can do a long day-trip usually with some advance warning, may be able to do an overnighter.

Off Sunday's and Monday's here. If yall want to get together sometime let me know. Would love to plan a trip to the dragon since the last time (only time) I went I never made it past Cashiers (CRASH). But hey, I got a new bike out of it. Bruised ribsssss?.......new bike?.......bruised ribs?......New bike of course. Ribs botherd me for a month but I have had the new bike much longer.

My work varies from week to week but I am usually off during the week for the most part or I can shift my work to fit what I need. I love going up threw Boone as we do it often for a nice sunday ride.
Next week we are going to take the bike out to the outer banks for a week and go up threw Virgina as well. Should be interesting.
