I had a problem once and they resolved it quickly. I always check to see if they have what I'm looking for before I order anywhere else. Wish all motorcycle dealers and vendors had the kind of customer support these guys do.

I like HDL, they will beat any price and they have a warehouse in Hendersonville NC. You can call them and go to the warehouse and pick it up.

HDL is pretty much all I use. They are not in CA so I save tax and I haven't paid shipping yet.

I purchased my ultimate seat there and was very pleased. Now I am looking at buying some bub huggers there.

Yeah, i've helped make Hal rich too....Chris is the one I deal with mostly...my miss up on a holiday sale order and he took care of it before it shipped.:D

Other than stuff from the classifieds that's the only place I order.

HDL is actually having a sale for Thanksgiving. You can receive a extra 10% off on check out by entering TURKEY into the CODE space.

I've ordered a few things from them..not sure WHAT...but have never been disappointed in the shipping, or the speed I get the items I've ordered.

I would MUCH rather order local...keep my money here in town..but for the price I have to pay....it makes it TOUGH...well, that and the fact that I would still be waiting for help at the local dealer if I didn't know their best Salesman, (and even HE takes is so 'busy' I have to call several times before I talk to him.)

So, if I can't get satisfaction locally, (even at a higher price some times), THEN I resort to online.

I actually paid almost $70.00 more for my air nailer locally, but only because the guy who sold it to me took the time to tell me about the different guns, and suggested different models that might work for me. Was his time worth the money...HECK YEA! Oh, and if you don't own one...hehehe...get one, they are almost as fun as the VTX! LOL LOL

I have just ordered my new bub huggers yesterday from HDL. Did not know about the 10% sale, oh well maybe next time. Still a lot cheaper then what local dealer would charge and that what its all about, since I do make a lot of money

I agree with supporting local people but here in Monroe there are not that many local honda parts dealer. Everything I have bought from local dealer they had to order including spark plugs. I can do that.

I am a virgin customer of HDL from OZ, my order left Pittsburgh, PA Feb 8 2008, still waiting on it here March 2 2008, I checked with Aust, post and they say It hasn't left US?
I cant help but compare with an order I placed with CruiserCustomizing, my order was here in 9 days.
I sent emails to USPS and they say sender has to talk to them, they wont talk to me?
Yes I have phoned and emailed HDL. Maybe some one with HDL will read this and find out what is happening?

I just ordered tires, bearings and other stuff for over $350.00 total. I asked my coworker that rides a 1800 Goldwing, "You think I should buy new tires? The front tire looks like it still has some tread left but it is as smooth as a baby's butt." I ordered the Metzer 880 for the 1300R. I hope they are as good as people here say they are. 12,xxx on the stock Dunflops.

I have ordered from HDL and Cruiser Customizing, and others...Shipping time depends on alot of variables...Both of those companies are reputable sources...Be patient, and remind them that you're still paying attention...They'll take care of you...

Thanks Bassdude, I haven't heard of one bad thing with HDL, that's why I went with them. I think the problem is with the Shipping, the annoying thing is that USPS will only talk to the sender.

HDL is a good company but they really need to update their inventory system / website. Being in NC and with taxes I factor that in on my buying since I have to pay taxes on what I buy. I have had good and bad experiences with HDL the bad being never updated on my order and taking almost 2 months to get an ordered item with zero update on the delay.

My order was sent back to HDL (return to sender) HDL resent it and it was here 8 days later.
Jen at HDL was a great help in finding my stuff and making sure I got it. Thanks Jen.

well i guess I will be the only one here that disagrees but....
I have another post about HDL and HAL directly. I will say I have purchased many items and had two issues. The first one they were rude and not good customer service. I let it slide you know stuff happens and I live in NC so I was getting my stuff next day. But then I ordered a OEM part and it was to take 10 days. Now if you look at the very bottom of the home page they do list a disclaimer but they charged me a restocking fee they never shipped ME the part and they DON'T stock OEM parts like the site says. That was from the employee that I spoke with. SO you guys that love HAL that is cool my dealings with him are quite different and I will not buy from him at any price from this point forward. If you are in Charlotte buy from Performance Honda ask for David he will do you right ALWAYS! And for mail order Cruiser Customizing is great never had an issue EVER!

I have had great luck with my purchases from HDL. My one complaint is that they dont show stock on the item before you purchase. I live in Ohio so their ship time to me very quick. I do have to pay tax but I don't mind that if I get it fast. If they showed stock on their site I would probably order exclusively from them unless it was something I needed immediately.
