Did you by chance buy your bike from Performance Honda in Wesley Chapel? That's where I saw my first VTX1300 (Work in the area) and if so how are they as far as Dealers go? Not sold on one dealership over another so would rather go with a place with positive reviews. Thanks...

Yes I purchased my VTX 1300R In the W Chapel dealer. Initially I purchase a Spirit 1100. I believed I got a good deal. However due to the weight limits on the 1100 and the information provided by the salesman while riding with a passenger I was way out over the weight limits.

To make a long story short, I was allow to returned the bike after a prolonged negotiations, (I was traveling) and the only negotiation allowed was for the price of the bike. I could not remove the extra items (warranty) from the sales contract. I am happy with my motorcycle but with a bitter sweet taste that I may not want to do business with this dealer again. You may try the one in south Hwy 301 in Brandon. His original price was much better that that final trade price from W Chapel.

I'm located in Seminole....just a few clicks south of Clearwater. Been doing a lot of riding lately....well sort of.....the rest of the crew ride HD's...so we have to stop quite often since their hands and feet go numb from the vibration and violent shaking... :-)

Since we have the bay area covered pretty well, what would be cool is for us to set a ride in a certain are and the guys from that area could take use on the best roads in their area, then move to someone elses area.

Just got my 07 1300s about 3 weeks ago,waitng for mustang seat after our first 200 mi. trip! I'm in Spring Hill,lots of good riding up here.but not alot of good bike nights.

I also bought an 1100 from Performance in Wesley Chapel, and after a few months decided I wanted something larger.

I traded it in for an vtx1800r, and they wouldn't credit me with the warranty or extended service agreement either. I'm very happy with the bike, but I would never buy another from Performance Honda.

Port Richey Here, I'm familiar with most of the good riding roads in Pasco and Hernando County's. I bought my VTX used, but I did go to the Honda Dealer in Hudson, they seemed to pretty straight forward.
