Mt. Dora ride via Emerald Island

I've got three or four bikes (maybe more) out of Gainesville going down to Mount Dora on Saturday the 20th. Kind of hate to post it on the other board as they are trying to have their meeting day on the 20th.

If people out of Jax are interested, we could probably meet somewhere like Salt Springs or Citra or such. I've posted it on the calendar. If you have a meeting place idea, going down by way of Moss Bluff and the Emerald Island Road, let me know.

Hey Pegs, I believe that is sort of like the ride Lewis & Aaron went on with you awhile back. Aaron kept telling me, "mom did you know we have a mountain in FL"!!! I am a native floridian and NEVER heard about Sugar Loaf Mtn. I would love to take that ride oneday but this Sat. the kids have their Football & Cheerleading Jamboree in Callahan. And it looks like our Sat's. for the next couple of months will be booked up for game days. :icon_wink But we still have Sundays to :choppersm!!!

I look forward to meeting you sometime. Aaron was great that day. Lewis had told me about Saturdays. It so happens it would have fit some Gainesville people better this time to be Sunday also but usually Saturday fits most better.

I've always preferred saturday because it seemed whenever I waited for Sunday, Saturday would go by and be beautiful and Sunday would have bad weather.

I ride nearly every Sunday also but those are usually not my 'scheduled' rides.

I hope Aaron has a blast on Saturday. Good luck to his team.
