Peaceful, easy feeling

Yeah I know it's an Eagles song. Got some free time this evening so I just went out for a small cruise. Done lots of things in life to try and relax but nothing beats the peacefulness of just you, your bike and some open road to run. Only thing I like better is spending time with the Mrs. REB.

I agree. There's nothing like a small cruise or road trip to relax me. As long as I'm riding all is right with the world.

No work today and I already went through a tank of gas this morning. There was something I wanted to do today but as soon as the X fired up I forgot what it was.

Ya gotta love it. I bought my 1800c less then one year ago. I have over 10k on her now and I barely amke it outside a 100 mile radius of the house. I feel better, I'm loosing weight, quite drinking and the chicks dig the sound of that BIG V-Twin. Life couldn't be any better. Heee Hooo!

Thirty-something years ago I rode an old Commando all winter in the Petosky, MI area. If I'd been sober I never would have tried to ride in the snow, and I would never have bought that old Norton, either. I was able to start it every day but at 40 degrees below zero it would never warm up.
Someone once told me that God looks out for drunks and small children, and I guess it was true for me.
