View Full Version : NC & SC riders, intereste in a ride on Oct 14th & 15th? A longer ride?

Big Daddy is having a cookout on the 14th in Greensboro on the 14th starting at 2:00pm till....
My wife and I are planning on riding up there for a few hours, then riding to around Boone NC and staying the night, then riding the Parkway Sunday till our asses get tired.
Anyone interested??

No problem for me to make the GBO cookout. Do you know if your'e going north or south on the parkway when you get there? Or where your'e going to stay the night? Going to have some very nice weather this week. I haven't seen the weekend forecast though. We rode a little over 200 miles yesterday. Very nice riding weather. :D

Would love to but am closing the store that day and have a back ho coming for playing in the yard with. OOPS ment work in the yard. lol

Well, we could always take 52 up to Va and get on the Parkway there and ride down to Boone. I work every other weekend, I wish I could ride this coming weekend.
I'm up for the cookout is the wife is over her cold by then. Can't do anything overnight due to the little ones, but I wouldn't mind meeting up and riding with everyone to the bbq ...

The list for the cookout is here, if you are goinf make sure you post there so they know.
Some are talking about staying there all day, spending the night and riding out together Sunday morning. I'm not sure I want to sit around all day so I may just ride on in the afternoon.

I was going to try to make but we've all been sick all week and I think I'm just going to take it easy this weekend.
One thing to note about meeting at QS&L on Speedway.. there's a race on Saturday so you might get tied up in traffic.

Finding someone to watch the little guy is still pending as of this a.m., so doesn't look like I'll be able to make it. Have a great time and safe riding.
