I think so ! And I use Linby, I personally feel anything that adds comfort and any form of protection to the rider and machine is worthy of consideration and probably application.

The Linby bar, and driver backrest has made my machine a pure joy to ride long distances. (100 miles +)

PMack,
I have also been looking at highwaybar / peg set up. I like the idea of an integrated system such as the Linby (don't want seperate pegs), however cannot find an application for the C model, is this what you are running?
BTW - thanks for all your advice on the Saddleman Explorer seat - just got mine about two weeks ago and could not be happier!

Yes, I use the Linbar, got it from *********, just typed in Linby Linbar, and their website came up. Wasn't hard to install, just a marginal amount of cussing and fuming, compared to the tachometer installation.

Glad to hear you are enjoying your Saddlemen, me too. I'm 5' 10", but short arms and legs, The saddlemen, linbar, and kewl metal risers, that brought the handlebars back 2", created a custom fit for me. And yes I also ride the "C".

How are those Kewl risers working out for you? I'm thinking of either switching my handlebars over to the R handlebars or getting Kewl risers. If I switch the bars, I'll have to get all new cables, so I'd rather get the Kewls, but I'm not sure they're gonna make that big a difference. Are they worth it? The Kewls would be about $130 and the bars & cables would be about $250 and a lot more work. Thanks. :drunk:

I have the Lindby bar too and I love it. I just looks cooler on the VTX than other full engine guards.

I just installed the Kuryakyen highway pegs on my bike. Not sure how I'm going to like them. I appreciate the look better since they seem alot less obtrusive than engine guards. The only thing is I'm not sure if they come far enough away from the frame to be comfortable (but I can always install extensions as well) and since they only connect to the frame at the bottom, they may bounce around a bit. Unfortunately, since I live in the great white north, I haven't had a chance to give em a try. We'll see how they work out. A friend of mine installed then and loved them. We'll see. Check out my gallery. I have some close up pics of the pegs then some others so you can see how they look with the rest of the bike.
