I'm sure some may be wondering why start another VTX forum when there are several large ones around. The answer is simple.

We are independently owned by a VTX rider, not any dealership owner. We hope that having no ties with any dealership will allow us to reach many many VTX riders that we can't contact now. We are working on a very nice postcard for placement in local dealerships and shops, hopefully this will get more VTX rideers together.

I know in the past our local shops would not allow promotion of the bigger boards due to competition, hopefully this will not be th ecase with the Cafe.

I ALSO THINK WE CAN BUILD A MORE RIDER FRIENDLY SITE WITH FEATURES THAT WE CAN ALL USE.

ps: Thanks for the amazing first month so far!! We have had 1900 unique visitors and have had one half a million hits this month so far!

I'll second that. I like coming over here because it's tamer than the other board I am on where if you ask a question they always tell you to use the search option to get it answered. Whats up with that? And the guys that always do that have over 15000 post. Dude must never ride but post on that board. Anyways keep up the good work Big-X :drunk:

Yep, that board has been like that for some time now. What really gets me is they either don't have an answer to the question or just don't want to take the time to answer it ..... but they have the time to tell you to go search. My answer to them is simply :icon_fing

variety is the spice of life, I read more than one newspaper, watch more than one tv channel, and now thanks to you, I visit more than one forum.

Great idea! There are some WAY "over-moderated" boards out there and I'm all for a free and open exchange of ideas, experiences, VENDOR AND DEALER honest evaluations, etc.

It's a great motorcycle and a great bunch of folks riding and wrenching. Just too bad they sometimes get a little confused about the economics of "sponsored" web sites and think that they owe some allegiance to the guy who's making money off the cheapest mass marketing outlet on the planet!

Here's to the success of this venture!

Only been here a few days and I like what I see so far, much better than the huge boards.

The great thing about this site is as far as I know it is the only site not owned by a dealer! All opinions are welcome without fear of editing so a vendor is not offended, keep up the good work!
