Flange bearing

Hello,
I am a new VTX1800N owner and I just read on another site about rear flange bearing failures on trhe 1800's. I did not want to read all of the post so could someone tell me if Honda has fixed this problem. :icon_eek:

I have over 18,000 on my 04 no problems at all but do the ground fix.

I also have an 03 retro with over 7,000 that's fine and over 260 members in my group haven't heard of one bearing problem.

30,000 Flange bearing is OK, I check every time I change rear tire.

A freind w/ 20,000 had a bad one, I'm sure that I ride harder than he does.

Well that is good to hear, because on VTXoa/VTXRiders.com many riders responded with their stories of finding very bad or broken bearings when they had a rear tire replacement.
