It says I need a Harley 883 Sportster, who wants a mini bike?

Scored as follows:

Yamaha FJR1300

You scored 3 moxie, 10 zeal, and 0 pomp!

You have the characteristics of a master street rider. On the way to work, your love for riding sometimes leads you to take the long way. The 50-miles-of-back-roads long way. You live for the perfect road, and plan vacations around riding.

You need a bike that can handle your addiction to the twisties as well as comfortably carry two on a weekend trip through the mountains. Your bike is the FJR1300. Can I borrow it someday?

It said I needed a 600, I eat these little toys for fun. Just cause your bike is a monster in power and size doesn't mean we can't play like the little ones. We just don't have to be uncomfortable while we do it.

I was told I need a Harley 883 Sportster. I say WHATEVER, Harleys are alright but I wouldn't give up my VTX for one! :spank: Okay, at the risk of sounding completely illiterate and stupid... What is "moxy, zeal, and pomp?" I took the test a couple days ago and didn't write down the results but I was still wondering. My wife took the test also and has never been a Biker without me and it said she needed a Yamaha FJR 1300. She's 5'1" 105lb and I don't know but that sounds like way too much bike for her.

O.K....that was a fun time killer:

Yamaha YZF R1
You scored 10 moxie, 8 zeal, and 2 pomp!
You're addicted to speed, but have the knowledge and experience to match. Although you like to win, you don't really care so much about competing with others as much as competing with yourself.
Your bike is the Yamaha YZF R1. Given how easily the rear wheel on this beast spins up coming out of turns, it is fortunate that you constantly work to improve your skills. (I've seen more R1s crash at track days than any other bike.)

It was a close decision with the Suzuki GSXR1000, but your personality seemed a bit more R1-ish. (But hey, I could be wrong. Its only a silly test.)

I got Harley 883 sportster on that! I knew I wouldn't get a crotch rocket the way I answered the questions, but come on! If I was a dwarf it might work, but no way! Gimme the X any day of the week!

You love riding, simply for the sake of riding. On the way to work, you sometimes find yourself taking the long way. The 50-miles-of-back-roads long way. Your mastery came about as a side effect from your love of the sport, although to be honest, you originally got into it because you thought a motorcycle would make you look cool. You need a bike that can handle your addiction to the twisties as well as reasonably carry two on a weekend trip through the mountains. Because you are a bit image-conscious and have a touch of ego, your bike is a Ducati. A practical Ducati, but a Ducati nonetheless.

883 Sportster,Pa Leese, I'd rather spend my time riding instead of working on the thing. I think Harley paid em to say that.

Wow, that was fun? My results seemed like a friggin commercial for HD (see below). Oh well, it basically said I was middle of the road and boring so yeah, I guess I'd be fitted for typical Hardley Rider.

Here's the Pitch
Thought experiment: if you were the only person left on earth, and you could pick any motorcycle you wanted, what would you choose? Best looking or best engineered? Your test results don't really point in any direction strongly, so I'll try to nudge you towards substance over style.
Consider: a FXST Softail weighs 629lbs dry, the base version starts around $14k, and will make 75-80hp -- after you tweak it with pipes and a jet kit. A Buell XB12R weighs 395lbs dry, costs $10.5k and makes 103hp, stock. An Aprilia Tuono R weighs 417lbs, costs $12k, and makes 125hp, stock. (We won't even mention the bang for buck of the Japanese competitors.) Still a fan of retro-classic styling? Then at least consider Harley's V-Rod, which mixes in some modern engineering into the equation (596lbs, 125hp, $17k). While the Sportster is a reasonable compromise, you may discover that you enjoy the added feedback provided by standard-style bikes such as the Suzuki SV or the Ducati Monster. (If you must hang with the Harley crowd, they'll be less likely to give you grief if you choose the Buell, though.)

It told me that I needed a sportster also, I rode one of those at Arizona bike week and it's like driving a mini bike. I'm pretty short at 5'6" but I dwarfed that bike. I don't understand the test it must be flawed LOL.

Lets see what the other voices come up with...

Custom Cruiser
You scored 6 moxie, -9 zeal, and 8 pomp! Style over substance. Attitude over skill. All talk, no walk. You are the custom cruiser. Your primary riding skill is going in a straight line down the strip, drawing attention to yourself with your 150dB exhaust.
Oh, and getting in spittle-drenched red-faced shoving matches, 'cause you're a tough guy.

That's what I thought. I knew I had some white trash in me somewhere...

Harley 883 Sportster
You scored 0 moxie, 0 zeal, and 5 pomp!

Looks like some Harley dealer did this test....it is a way to market their bikes. Just kidding, I know there were a lot of other results, but the Sportster seems like a pretty common one. I did not see any results that came up VTX. Whats up with that?

I also got the worthless sportster. But I have to be honest, before I knew anything at all about bikes based on name recognition and price I considered a 1200 sportster. Then I actually started looking at bikes and it became between the Warrior and the VTX. Since I am clost to the size of a dwarf I chose the VTX and couldnt possibly be happier.

For the record, I'm starting to get spam from taking this test. Seems that the site was a front for dating sites, the site name with "cupid" is a giveaway.

Not only is my bike type a Sportster, I's supposed to meet all these young chicks. My wife of 40 years wishes me luck on both.

Thought you'd like to know.

Well, with me, it first said Sprtster 883 (nota chance in Hades), and then the FXST Softtail (well, maybe...if I can't have a VTX...)

I eliminated the chance of getting spam by giving them a bogus email account...or I hope it is...nimrod@aol.com...which as the admins here know ain't me...
