trip recommendation

Considering a trip to Arkansas, Kentucky, Missouri and Iowa over the summer.Looking for suggestions. I would like to find a resort close to a few great rides.My son and I will spend the days riding and wife and daughter will shop.Looking for a resort possible in the mountains or on a lake.
Last year we did Smokey mountain national park, deals gap, Dragon etc. We stayed in a cabin resort in Gatlinburg Tenn. Thanks
