Is there any way to dim the high beam warning light on the retro? It is almost blinding with the glare off the windshield and glasses. :hmm2:

There are a couple of things that can be done. If you are a smoker, cut the filter off an unsmoked cigarette and stuff it in the lens. I took a black sharpie and painted the inside of the lens. A drop or two of white or blue paint or nail polish works too.

Couple of ways to fix this; The cotton tip of a Q-tip, white out, opaque scotch tape (trim to fit).

I ended up taking a piece of dark blue plexiglass and had my brother cut it down to size and glued it to the top of the bulb lens and now I get a faint glow. thanks for all the suggestions

You could just switch to low beam (if you like to see up to 10 feet in front of your bike at night!) LOL

Just mount a set of these babies on there and you will never have to use your high beam again !

The qtip trick is pretty cool. But you can dim it with a resistor.

I just cut out a neat little round circle of black electrical tape and put it over the high beam indicator for a quick fix the day I brought the ride home, I left it that way till the first time I pulled the panel then I stuffed a little cotton over the lamps as several have done.
