Statewide X Riders Meet & Greet

The guys on the VTXOA are trying to put together a statewide meet and greet for the end of June. Their main goal is to give the guys from north Louisiana, and all over the state, a chance to make a get together. It still in the works, but they are shooting for the weekend of June 27-28, possibly doing an overnighter in Natchez, Miss., which is a central meeting point for the guys in N.O. and the guys up north. They're talking about riding the Natchez Trace among other things. I'll try to keep you guys updated, or y'all can check the Louisiana board on the VTXOA.

Shouldn't a "state" meet and greet for Louisiana riders actually be held in say, oh I don't know,... Louisiana?

That's what I was thinking, but hey, I ain't putting the thing on. They are talking about Vicksburg now instead of Natchez. Something about it being a central meeting point for all the guys. The majority of the main group is around New Orleans, with the north Louisiana group mainly around Shreveport and along the I-20 corridor. I was going to do Natchez, but don't think I am going to make it all the way up to Vicksburg. I can think of quite a few more centrally located spots instead of Vicksburg, Mississippi. But like I said, I ain't putting this thing together.
