After my 600 mile service, I noticed that sometimes my speedometer console will vibrate at high revs. I tried to tighten the Allen screws to no avail. I seems to be rubber mounted. Any ideas???

A fella told me that they are indeed rubber mounted. Got the same problem when cold. He said to add some plastic shims under the rubber grommets. Gonna do it when time permits. Hope this helps. Grego......
I've had the same problem at times. My solution....2-into-1 Sideburners by Hard Krome.

Make sure the console is installed correctly. After my 600 mile service, they didn't fit the front underside into the tab (on the tank) and I had some vibration and quite a gap between the console and the tank.
I also have added a tank bib and that stopped any additional vibration.

Simple fix. Take off the bottom three allen screws. Then carefully take the speedo console and move it forward towards the handlebars. It's nice if you have a second pair of hands to hold the speedo at this point. Then push down on the front metal mount that has a rubber protected cap carefull not to over bend it.. Attach the speedo in oppisite order from above. You may have to repeat this a few times to hit the sweet no vibrate spot.
Goodluck....

NC has it right on the head.I got a lot of vibration noise. So,i took the speedo off and put the plastic slot onto the tap.I tightened down the screws and the noise was gone.

Thanks for the tips. I will try them.
Other than that it's been great riding! :)
I to had the same problem, but the screws were not loose, when I did my pair valves and pulled the tank and reinstaled it, it went away, make sure your tank is seated well and tight.no problems since, 2 months ago.

I put #7 O-Rings on the base under each screw. Took care of the rattle.
