I was contacted from Bryan at BD's Cycles about doing a fundraiser for a charity. After talking with him I agree it would be a great cause and a good way for someone to win a free custom paintjob.

I'm still talking to him abnout the how and logistics of this, so I'm posting for opinions or input.

The plan is simple:

1) Donations for the drawing would be $10 each for a ticket, no limit to how many you can buy.

2) The check would be made out to the charity, not myself or BD's Cycles.

3) The paintjob would be for 2 fenders, gas tank, and 2 side covers. The paint would be simular to most any of the ones shown at www.bdscycles.com (http://www.bdscycles.com).

So, any questions, comments, suggestions, or anything?

How about if the entrants mail a check made out to the charity of their choice in a addressed, stamped and unsealed envelope inside another sealed envelope to whoever wants to run this constant. That way it can be documented how many tickets to give to the entrant and all the person who is running this has to do is seal and mail the unsealed envelope to the charity the entrants pick.

You understand what I'm trying to get across???

I'm in. What about Scottish Rite Cripple Childrens Hospital? Or Shriner's Burn Hospital. In case you are not familiar with these, all services to children under the age of 18 is free.
