Just replaced my license plate light with a 3 led setup from superbrightleds.com.

I removed the reflectors on the license plate bracket and didn't like all the black empty metal. So I removed the stock license plate light and moved the plate up. Using smaller bolts I was able to utilize the holes from the reflectors. (NOTE: I still have myh temp tag so I may need to drill new holes and grind down the top of the plate just a fraction). The temp tag does hit the bottom of the fender so when the real tag comes in it may need a trip to the grinder. But it will just be a small amount if any.

After moving the plate I took the led setup which is three led's mounted in a rectangle shaped black plastic housing. The two outer bulbs are at 45 degree angles away from the center bulb. So the plate is lighted very nicely. I took some 3m two sided tape and stuck it to the very top of the plate. Keep in mind the led cluster is only 1 11/16 wide and 5/8 tall. Doesn't really cover any of the plate. And it looks pretty good. I'll get some pics and throw them on my website. All in all I'm very satisfied with the outcome. The led setup cost me a total of $9 shipped and about 10 minutes to install.
