I only have 25k miles on my bike and the clutch is slipping! I've heard that Barnett clutches are heavy duty and outlast the Honda clutch.
Does anyone have any experience with the Barnett clutches?
Thanks for the help!

I bunt the clutch on my bike at 10k miles. I currently have a barnett clutch with no issues.

Thanks for the reply!
Notice any difference in the pull on the clutch lever? Mine is rather hard to pull with the Honda clutch now, my hand gets tired running around in traffic. Is it an harder to pull or stiffer?
Did you go with just the springs or the whole clutch kit including friction plates, steel plates and springs?

Mine did not feel any different. My lever also does not pull hard. I went with the springs and everything to get more pressure on the plates.

Thanks!
I emailed Barnett and got a great technical and detailed email back. they say only about 20% stiffer lever. They also said that they used to use springs the same as Honda, but so many VTX owners wanted stiffer springs, they built heavier.
I'm putting in the full clutch kit. Thanks for the feedback. I'll let you know what happens.

Hey partner, I have not heard of the Barnett quality. But this might help. I just put NOS on my 1800 so I needed a great clutch. I went with the MTC. Absolutely no slipping.
