I've had my bike sitting for about a week with the fuel valve on off. I tried several times today to start it and it wouldn't start (because I forgot to put the fuel valve on on) :harder: So needless to say I am stuck on what to do becuse I don't know if it is flooded. I went out there and tried to start it again (fuel valve on), and I couldn't get it to start. What do I do?

Did you run the carb dry or something with it in the off position?? What I mean is, did you just shut it off after you have it running and not run all the gas out of it? If so, then it still should fire. I'd check to make sure your fuel lines aren't kinked, pull the plugs and make sure they aren't fouled for some reason or wet (shouldn't be, but I'd check anyway). Did you do anything else recently to the bike (maintenance, winterizing, etc.)? You do have fuel in the tank (can hear it sloshing around in the tank), correct?

You could pull a plug and see if it is wet. If it is not, its not flooded start the bike the normal way. If the weather is cool use the choke.
