I just noticed today when adjusting my sleeve that my VTX pulls to the right a little. I had to lean to the left to balance it out. What causes this? What adjustment will fix it?
thanks Chuck
I've read that the stock exhaust, being as heavy as it is, can cause the bike to pull to the right. I never noticed the problem on my bike when I did run stock pipes, but I did notice my H seemed to be leaning on his. We both changed our pipes to Cobra slipons and they are much lighter than the stock. H put the stock pipes back on (thought the Cobra's were too loud....they're not. lol) and I haven't noticed the problem anymore. Maybe he is just more aware of it. Not really sure.

With one hand on the bar you will have a tendancy to either pull more or push with the hand remaining on the bar. This will cause you to move either to the left or right. So I'm assuming you are referring to your shirt sleeve. Just adjust the pressure of the one hand left on the grip.
I have never noticed a pull on my 1300R. It sounds more like the rider shifted weight or position than the bike leaning. Lord help you if you turn your head to look a pretty girl.

I thought it was just me... I let go of the grips to zip my jacket sleeves and had to lean to the left to keep it straight. It could be weight of the pipes but my rain gear in the left bag should counter most of that. No clue (save it, I've been called clueless before). I tested it and it always pulls right - I have to lean left to keep it straight.

Move your wallet to the other back pocket. LOL
I never noticed this. Mine's balanced just fine. (Even with the stock pipes).

No pull at all with my 1800c with V&H pipes. The about post sounds like it could be the cause - the stock exhause weighs a ton.
Mine pulled to the right, I am not sure what caused it but changing to the 1300 C rims and changing the trees fixed it, now i am not saying you gotta do what I did to fix it as I am sure there is something that will but I am not sure what. Seemed like when I would put new tires on the bike it would go away for a while but always came back

Your tires are pulling you that way. When the tires are made at the factory they are laying on the left side. This makes the right side of the tire take all the heat transfer for a longer time. This makes the tire a little softer on the right side. Also look at the rain groves cut in the tire. I'll bet their cut to sling water to the right side also. My stock tires pulled bad to the right. With the new ones its not noticeable at all.

After I replaced the stock exhaust with the Hard Krome 2.5 classics, the tendency to pull to the right went away. You probably drop 20 pounds off the right side with aftermarket pipes.
