Ok, so whats the secret to getting these things off? Been trying to get the darn rubber things(grommets?) through the holes. Is there a secret? I have them at room temp and man they are tough. HELP, I want to polish.:D

Two different ways--one, lube them up with something (could even use Armor All if you wanted or something oily) and push them through to the top or two---cut the nubs off and pull them up. You putting on Kury Floorboard covers I assume? To help get some leverage under the stock rubber, you could also use a small prybar (but I'd cover it with a thin towel/rag).

Here we go Man. As Rich stated squirt a lube around the bottom where the rubber seals to the board. With a pair of needle nose pliers squeeze the rubber on two sides and push up. they will pop right out. After you get a couple of the out you should be able to get the rest with just your hands. Sorry about the delay. WE WERE HAVING LUNCH!! :bleh: :bleh:

Finished my boards and the adjustable brackets on windshield. They look great! I got lazy and did not do the tripple tree mounts for shield. Those are a project for another day. Rode 25 miles today. It was 32 when I left the house.
Oh, I also cut the back strap off of my S. bags to clean up the back end. I mounted them to the S. brackets.

Sorry Rich, I have not had the time to figure the pic. thing out yet. I have not had the time at the store to work on that and my PC here at home crapped out on me. Using wifes work laptop and against co. policy to ad software. I will work on that.
