WTB: Stock seat for '05 1800f

Are you planning on putting an F model seat on your C model? I can't find any seat upgrades for my F model other than the ugly one Corbin makes. If I knew the C model seats would compatable with the F models for sure, I would sell my F model seat TODAY to get one of those Mustang or UltimateX seats. The F model seat is alot nicer than the stock C model, that's one of the reasons I bought the F. I bought my 1800F Spec 1 in july, it has about 1400 miles on it. If you know some inside info on the seat compatibilities for C & F let me know, I might consider selling mine, it's in immaculant condition. I called Mustang Seats and they said the C model seats they make will not fit on the F models. Thanks

Here's your answer, J&J Apolstery # 801-955-4433 Ask for Jack. This buddy of mine has a F model as well and he made a seat for his bike out of a Mustang with back rest. Give him a call, I'm sure he will help you. He also does custom covers and seats of all types.

The F model seats are not interchangable with any other model unless you swap out the rear fender.

Ultimate Seats is supposed to be tooling up for an "F" model seat, hopefully by February 06. Also So Cal Cycle Seats is also supposed to be working on a seat for the "F".

VTX-F owners your wait is over, you can now order an Ultimate seat (http://www.ultimateseats.ca/), but they are only making it available in the midrider version and no rider backrest is available.:mad:

But wait there is still hope:icon_smil, because Russell Cycle Products says they can deliver a dual touring seat with backrest on all VTX models. And they look as good or better than the Ultimate brand of seats, but they are kind of pricey.
