I rode my bike down the street about a half a mile and put it in the garage. I started it up yesterday and it was running on the front cylinder. I pulled the rear plugs and they were very wet. I put two new ones in and started it and it was shooting a 6'' blue flame and backfiring. I checked the plugs again and the were fouled. I cleaned them and put em in. Started the bike and now the exhaust is sucking and pushing on the rear cylinder like the valves are stuck.I have good fire to the plugs. I dont understand how there could be valve damage from one day to the next just by starting the bike.

OK Cuz, there are a number of things you might want to check.

First, it sounds like you may have liquid fuel in the back cyl. You need to clear that by taking the spark plugs out and turning the engine over until it clears. Careful here cause if that fuel makes contact with spark you got a bigger problem.

Now that the cylinder(s) is/are cleared you need to find out why the carb is flooding and I can only offer a few suggestions:

1. Choke is pulled out.
2. Filter is clogged.
3. Float is stuck feediing raw fuel into the cyl.

Hope this helps a little. There may be other causes, but this is a place to start.

Best advice atm that I can give, is get a leakdown test done on that jug. That is a starting point. Takes a couple of minutes and tells a lot.

:hmm2: Not sure but possibly the float stuck and the extra fuel could have washed the oil from the valve stem. If the engine did get that much extras fuel there is a good chance that some of it is in the crank case. I would change the oil and filter just on priciple. After that leave the plugs out (front and Back) and turn the engine over for a couple of minutes. I wouyld do that for about three or four times. Then replace the plugs and give it a try. Just my thoughts

Thanks alot for your support. I flushed the entire fuel system including the carb. I pulled the plugs and turned it over a couple of times, cleaned the plugs off and put them back in. I changed the oil and cranked her up. Ran like poop for a couple minutes while it cleared out the black smoke. After it cleaned out I put new plugs in and it runs like new. I think I ran it very low on fuel and got some bad gas. I also added a bit of Techron to the fuel.Thank you all again for your support.Mike
