I have a green fluid leaking on my engine. I'm thinking that it's my coolant. I recently purchased this second hand bike in great condition, but now I see a green seepage on my engine and can't figure out exactly where it's coming from. A few weeks ago I added an engine guard and had to loosen the radiator, but don't see a place where the hose may have loosened. Has anyone else had this kind of problem, and/or does anyone have any advice that might help find the source of the leak. I've tried to trace it, and although the stuff leaks on the engine while I'm riding, I can't seem to find the leak while it's just idleing.

Not sure my self either but your right it does sound like coolent. Check up around the top portion where the top hose goes in and see if maybe the clamp is sitting correctly and tighten if needed. Could be as well that the intake side is cracked on the engine so you need to shop it. My orginal recommendation is to shop it right now before you runn it to hot and cause more damage. Just my input. hope it works out for you. Let us know.

It is more than likely a loose clamp on a coolant line. However since you are new to this bike, I would shop it and have them do a overall inspection of the bike. Just my thoughts.

If it's from the top of the engine take the tank off .there's a coolant hose under there that likes to leak
