I am doing the clayton mod on my 2006 1300R and I just need to know if there is a second plate behind the plate that I drilled my holes in.
Also, how far back do I need to drill the holes. I just made 5 1/2inch holes symetricly around the exhaust pipe. How deep do I need to go?

You are finished. You drill through the back plate only.

The farther you drill, the deeper the sound. I used a 12" bit and went as far as I could go. Awesome sound.

Go deep. You won't get the rumble from just the first plate.
