Bought it new this last September in Charlotte at Charlotte Honda on Freedom Drive; they had a local guy custom paint it, would be my guess that they scratched it up a good bit taking it out of the crate. It was there for several months on the floor before I bought it. Not sure if you ever come to or ride in that area of Charlotte, maybe you saw it there if that's the case.

Yep, that's my baby on there. They told me at the dealer that he was the one who did the job. By the way, love the paint on yours as well :). Hope to see it in person sometime soon if we can all get a ride together.

They're Cobra and you can hear me long before you can see me! They were on the bike when I bought it. I love the sound but since I put a SwitchBlade 2-Up windshield on it seems alot louder. I'm kinda like you as far as needing to get riding time under my belt with the X, my last one was a 96 Yamaha Virago 535. It was great to get back in the swing of things with BUT a lot smaller feeling. be glad to meet up and let you get an ear full!!!!!!! -James

I'm on 220 all the time but I prefer to ride teh back roads. Pottery country (seagrove) has some nice riding also. Plus my wife likes to stop to look.

Word of advise to the fellows....if you don't have saddle bags the wife can not spend too much money.
