Bought it new this last September in Charlotte at Charlotte Honda on Freedom Drive; they had a local guy custom paint it, would be my guess that they scratched it up a good bit taking it out of the crate. It was there for several months on the floor before I bought it. Not sure if you ever come to or ride in that area of Charlotte, maybe you saw it there if that's the case.

Yep, that's my baby on there. They told me at the dealer that he was the one who did the job. By the way, love the paint on yours as well :). Hope to see it in person sometime soon if we can all get a ride together.

we were shooting for next sunday but can hold off till the next if you and others can make it. I personally have never been to shatley springs but all the guys I ride with say it is a great ride as well as a great place to eat. we could also hit the parkway and ride quiet a bit on the way. let me know

They're Cobra and you can hear me long before you can see me! They were on the bike when I bought it. I love the sound but since I put a SwitchBlade 2-Up windshield on it seems alot louder. I'm kinda like you as far as needing to get riding time under my belt with the X, my last one was a 96 Yamaha Virago 535. It was great to get back in the swing of things with BUT a lot smaller feeling. be glad to meet up and let you get an ear full!!!!!!! -James
