Hello all . . . Just found this forum and registered. My name is Ron. I've been lusting after an 1800 for quite a while. I recently took the plunge and purchased a black 2003 VTX 1800 off of <yikes!> Ebay! Got a good deal, $7700 for a bike with 1000 miles on it, in showroom condition. I love it, as I knew I would. The only drawback is my timing. Bought the thing in October. We've still had some decent weather for riding, but I'm sure I'm going to be looking at it more than riding it for the next couple of months anyway <sigh>. I'm REALLY looking forward to springtime now! Hoping that this forum will keep me entertained through the cold winter months.

Welcome gasdude....glad to have you up and riding..I too got my bike on e-bay approx. 2 months ago. Was the best and quickest way to get back riding again. Got a most excellent deal on a MOST EXCELLENT bike from a gentleman named Mr. Bob A....
I can only imagine his disappointment/sadness of having to part with such a sweet ride....so I want to take a moment and say Many Thanks Mr. Bob for giving me the opportunity to own such a fine ride....I feel your pain dude!!..and hope the future finds you back on 2 wheels again....
