Sounds like a 2 day job if you don't rush, take your time so they turn out right. Pics when you're done goes without saying.

2 Days? Really? Well, it will be 50 degrees tomorrow as well. Hoped to get it done in a day (6-7 hours) to ride tomorrow. But yeah, I hear ya.. I always tend to take my time and do it right the first time.

Oh, and forgot Scar Mod in there as well.. :D

It could go great and get done in 1 day, I just hate to rush to get it done in X amount of time and wind up redoing something because I rushed. That's the point I was trying to make, deadlines can cause mistakes. Good luck my friend. Get off this thing and get to work.

Sounds great. I'm planning to do the same thing tomorrow. Gonna take some stuff over to wanderingbear's house and try out his new bike jack he got from Harbor Freight a couple of weeks ago. :mosh:

Have fun....

My only suggestion would be to do the pair removal FIRST and make sure the bike runs good....THEN do the other carb work. If you do all the work at once and something goes wrong it will be a PITA to figure out where/what went wrong.

Yeah... I am mechanically inclined... give me a small block, and Ill do wonders... but Bikes, Im just not... Used to yet..

It helps when you have a garage, with all the necessary tools handy..

I think the license plate took longer than anything, as I had to dremel the chrome frame a little to fit the LED strip.. and I lost a spark plug wire... somehow...

-Gonz

Explanation on spark plug wire:

I took off the Front Left Spark Plug Cover.. annnnnd there wasnt a wire there.

Im thinking... huh... well look at that.. what kinda Jap Chit is this? I'm lookin on the cover for some idiotic thingamajig.. nothing...

I come on here, Beefy, sda, and JConrad are in chat.. Im like.. Uhm... is there SUPPOSED to be a spark plug wire Front Left? LOL

It was laying in front of the Jug, between the highway bars and the jug. I have no idea how it got there. Sure as chit wasnt connected.. Only thing I can think of is they replaced the Fan and I rode it home (2 blocks) and didnt notice anything... Or, I completely spaced taking it off and moving it... *shrugs*
