I think this site offeres some of the best features you could ask for but if you had one "wish" what would you have me ad?

I like it fine just the way it is.....but what are our options?

I like it the way it is just fine. If you get to many forums it just waters down the participation. The only thing I can even remotely think of that would be nice is a "Soft Serve Ice Cream" button but that would prpbably just make a mess of the key board. The very least it would mes up the hard drive.

I love this site and all the members have been very helpful.

If there was one upgrade I would love to see it is better access to pictures of the bikes. For example, I tried to find pictures of Green Ghost's bike to look at something on his bike that we were talking about in the forum. It would be very helpful if we could click on his name in the reply and on the screen it would have his pictures or a link to them.

Other than that this site is by far my favorite site on the net.

Scott, we each have our on personal Photo gallery. You just have to load your own pics up. I havent done it myself because it is new to me and I just have not had the time. Look just below where it lists your bike below your member name.

I think this is what you are talking about.

Yep, we have that right over there, if they have uploaded their bike to the photo gallery the link will take you right to it...

Well the upgrade may take place tomorrow, so it may be offline till I get it reinstalled later next week...going on vacation.

An explanation of those X's, and green bars, and rating percentages, under the posters names? I'm sure that they are some sort of reputation system, but I have not really been able to determine how and when to use them, or even how the ratings are earned.

I'm with you on that one too. I'm a newbie here too and don't understand all of that either.

For every positive rating it goes up....the green bars, that is.:)

It goes up more when a long time member gives you one than a newbie.

the X's I think are post counts...but I'm not 100 percent sure.

Now please tell us what the "X"'s are for? Same for the "Rating: _%", which mostly seem to be set to "0%"?

I explained the X's I think you talking about in my first post. As far as the rating system....I think it's used for buying and selling on the board, I'm not really sure...mine is also at 0.

Good job on the site!.....Very professional... Need to ask one question, is there a search for "members currently online"? I see the icon in the chat box, and the "members" on top line for the alpha search, also the green/red while i'm looking at the posts. But, what about a list that would give me "all greens"? kinda like a quick search for currently online folks.

How about a place for Woman riders......
we don't have to many cool places to see if there are any girls on board.
Not that I don't like it as is but when I first got here I was wondering how many woman are on this site.....

Tanja, There are plenty of women on the site, everyone is encouragd to participate and support the forum. A separate link doean't sound too unrealistic. Ask the forum admin! :)

I would love to see a place where we could keep a journal--like Xtreme Revolution has. Just a place where we could keep ride stories, lessons learned, trip chronologies, etc. Maybe even have it so we could marry up pictures with the text. I have always loved reading ride stories from folks that take trips to Alaska, the Desert, or just about anywhere else. Just my .02 cents.

Is there a way to see "unread" messages? If I'm reading the forum at work I get interrupted between posts and the timeout on "new posts" will expire so instead of the 20 or 30 messages I wanted to read there's only 5 or 6 "new" ones. The "posts for today" link helps but it'd be nice to be able to do "All unread posts" that way I could keep up with what I've read and not read over several days.
