Want to drop your VTX 2 inches?? Prices on Custom Shocks Too High? Well their is an alternative. SOTMC BASIC SHOCK MOD. Lower you bike up to two inches in the rear without the hassle or expensive custom shocks. For a $55.00 price tag SOTMC can slam you and keep the cool looking chrome shocks all at the same time. Very Nice Work and the ride seems unchanged, All For $55.00 Bucks. ( TOO CHEAP ) Pete's soon to be the Main Man in the Metal Polishing World as well. The shine he can put on metal is unreal. I'm sure most of the members here have seen some of my polishing work. Pete's work puts mine to shame. Mirror Polished for a very good price. Hard to beat. Also look for new products comming out soon from SOTMC shop for the VTX. I'm not sure but if you want a Streched Out Cool Looking front end in the comming weeks you may want to keep an eye on SOTMC. Custom Work for Great Prices. You can contact SOTMC at www.sotmc.com. Give Pete a shout he will be glad to help you. GREAT PEOPLE, OUTSTANDING WORK!!! GG :D

That's why they fold up and have drag bumpers on them. Don't lift it just make more sparks. GG :D

Got hem back today. They look sweet! Pete went all the way, they cleaned them, polished them, they look better than new. They come set at 5, once you put them on the bike, you can dial it down all the way to 1. Took the bike for a drive with the shocks set at 1, you almost can't tell the difference from the OEM ones. On a scale 1 - 10 with 10 been struts, the OEM's were 4. These are 5 may be a 6. Not too stiff where my a$$ get punished not too soft to the point the bike is loose. I ride solo, so for me this is better than expected. 2 up must dial 4 or 5 to adjust the height. I had the 412's on my 99 Aero they felt like struts. Plus I get to keep the OEM look. Installed a set of new bushings, freaking stealer charged me $6.50 a piece. It was long after that I saw them for $3.25 plus $10 shipping on line. Lesson learned.
If you are debating if it's worth it or not, in my opinion, for my purpose, it's worth every penny. First you get to support a family business, it's so effortless to communicate with them, they always answer emails "pronto", and their product is second to none. Their price is reasonable, $71 OTD priority mail, and your bike will look "stock".
Thanks again everyone for recommending them on this web site.

wish I had known about this before I spent the money on new shocks and installation. Oh well live and learn. Another option is to have the stock seat redone by Bad X.
