removing Blinker tag assy

I want to remove the blinker- tag assy on my vtx1800c. Can someone share some tips on how to proceed. Thanks

It's welded in place so you'll have to cut it. I opted to install a nice Kury lighted license frame and then removed the stock tag light and reflectors and replaced them with LED marker lights I got from an auto parts store. Wired to only brake light circuit so it acts as a (3rd on autos) 2nd brake light.

Here's a photo(s). Will eventually replace marker lights with something nicer from signal dynamics when I get back to work again. Really like the added safety they give though.

I took off the stock plate bracket and put on the Kury wraparound chrome one with LED turnsignals. It looks great and the license plate light is a row of white/blue LED's too. It's about a $140 but well worth it to get that ugly license plate / turn signals off the ass of my X.
