I have a new vtx1300R. Thinking about drilling out the mufflers. Question is: would I be wise to wait until engine is broke in or is this a mod that won't affect the break in period. Thanks for input...
Many appologies if I am in the wrong forum, new guy here, I just noticed this might be an emergency only section !!

I don't beleive it will affect your break-in period in any way. If I remember correctly, I drilled my pipes before I did my first maintenance/oil change. It's strictly for the sound, it should not affect performance.
